HeartFelt Yoga's First Stage of Reopening

I hope this little note finds you happy and warm!

It feels like forever since we last practiced together. I have missed sharing the HeartFelt Yoga space with you. I haven’t spent as much time there during this lock down as I did during the first one. I would go in there & miss you even more 💚

I have made the most of my time at home. I have spent January diving deep in to the history, philosophy and spirituality of yoga, in a way I never have before. I am just finishing up a 70 hour course on the Bhagavad Gita. This is the main text from where yoga grows it’s roots. I have always been drawn to the spiritual side of yoga, to have the chance to study in such depth has filled my soul! I feel very blessed to live in the time of Zoom! I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to take this training without it.

This brings me to some good news! On February 8th, HeartFelt Yoga will be opening our doors for one on one appointments only. Sadly, yoga classes will not be available until at least March.

HeartFelt Yoga runs primarily on group yoga classes. But, I'll be honest with you, in my first business plan, I was only going to offer one on one appointments. I quickly realised that this wasn't going to work for me. I knew if I stopped teaching group classes my life would be left with a huge hole. I absolutely love teaching private yoga though. With yoga therapy clients, I have had the opportunity to see the amazing strides students can make in a private yoga session.

From now until group classes can resume, I have two services available. The first is Yoga Therapy. This option is great for anyone who has a health concern that they wish to address using yoga techniques. A few examples would be- injury rehabilitation, health concerns- such as high blood pressure, or perhaps depression support. The process of yoga therapy begins with an in-depth conversation or an intro appointment. This conversation gives me a clear idea of what you are looking to achieve using yoga. Then we meet a few days later for a practice together. Depending on your needs, we might practice together once or for a series of ongoing appointments. Typically, if we meet once, I will give you a plan for you to work on your own. It can be decided in our intro meeting, if one session or multiple sessions are needed.


The prices for yoga therapy are-

Intro appointment & one yoga therapy session $110

Intro appointment & three yoga therapy sessions $300


The second option available to you is a private yoga class. This would be similar to the group classes you currently attend. The difference would be that you are completely in charge of the class focus. You can choose the style of yoga- maybe a hatha or kundalini, as well as the focus of the class. For example, maybe you want to improve your balance postures or you want to work on stress relief. The options are endless.


The prices for a private class are-

One- 75 minute practice $75

Three- 75 minute sessions $210
